This is a 2-way, 2-position, normally closed, poppet-type solenoid valve. When de-energized, the poppet design blocks flow from port 2 to port 1 with minimal leakage, while allowing free flow from port 1 to port 2. Once energized, the valve opens to permit bi-directional flow between both ports. Thanks to its low-power coil and minimal pressure drop, this valve is an ideal choice for reducing power consumption, saving space in HIC designs, or operating in high-ambient-temperature environments.
